2019 Crop Assessment Tour News Release and Final Yield Estimates By County

10th Annual Crop Assessment Tour
August 26  to September 6

2019 is shaping up to be one of the most variable years we have seen in a long time. Inconsistent weather patterns have caused planting delays, crop emergence issues, compaction problems and a host of other pests.  Other areas have the best crop they have ever seen.  Understanding the crop size , helping growers plan for harvest and what they may do different in 2020 are the opportunities for our tour!

Staff from Great Lakes Grain, AGRIS Co-operative, FS PARTNERS and participating FS Co-operatives will be conducting yield checks and agronomic evaluations in corn and soybean fields. These results will provide market intelligence for the benefit of our co-operative farmer owners. Continue to watch here for more updates and follow us on Twitter at #glgtour19.

Our final results will be released at our FS Ontario Co-operative booth at Canada's Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, September 10.
