After more than 40 years in the grain industry, Andy Vanderveen, Senior Grain Merchandiser at Great Lakes Grain, has announced his retirement. Andy’s last day will be December 31, 2025.

Andy has been a cornerstone of our grain team, bringing decades of experience, insight, and professionalism to his work. His career has been defined by outstanding service to farmer-owners, colleagues, and the co-operative system.

Throughout his time at Great Lakes Grain, Andy has exemplified dedication and commitment — building trusted relationships with farmers, guiding staff with his knowledge, and helping position the co-operative as a leader in the grain industry. His steady leadership and expertise have left a lasting impact on both our business and our people.
