We’re proud to announce two exciting promotions within the GreatLakes Grain team!
Garrett Dieleman has been promoted to Grain Merchandiser at our Central Office. With just over 3 years on the Great Lakes Grain team, Garrett began as a Grain Merchandising Assistant in 2022 before taking on the Logistics Coordinator role in 2023. He grew up on a cash crop farm in Wallacetown and brings both practical farm knowledge and a passion for grain marketing. Garrett is excited to continue building strong relationships and delivering value to our farmer-owners in this next step.
Josh McFarland has been promoted to Logistics Coordinator. Since joining the GLG team as a Grain Merchandising Assistant, Josh has brought 15 years of energy sector experience and a strong background in commodity markets to our operation. A native of Dresden, Josh recently returned to Chatham-Kent with his young family and has made an immediate impact. In his new role, Josh will oversee grain logistics across our network—ensuring smooth, efficient product flow from farm to market.
