2026 Crop Assessment Tour Sign Up

The annual Great Lakes Grain Crop Assessment Tour returns this year, running from August 31 to September 7, 2026. Staff from Great Lakes Grain, in partnership with AGRIS Co-operative, Central Ontario FS, and Coop Embrun, will join local farmers to scout corn and soybean fields across Ontario.

Together, the team will estimate yields, evaluate crop development, and assess overall plant health. These insights will help participating farmers identify potential marketing opportunities for their grain and support agronomic decision-making for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.

The tour provides valuable data not only for growers but also for Great Lakes Grain, exporters and end-users, offering a clearer picture of Ontario’s corn and soybean outlook supporting grain handling decisions across the value chain.

County-level yield results will be released at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, ON, on September 15, 2026!
